  • The stamp act was on March 22, 1765. and American colonies made the British pay tax on and type of paper. and what did the stamp act congress do? well they set up a meeting for lasting a few weeks. This was the first of coming together for elective representatives.
  • The sugar act was on April 5, 1764. What was it? Well, this was a revenue- raising act. in addition in the molasses act colonial merchants actually ended up paying a tax of six pence per gallon of molasses. the colonies are very upset because they had to pay all these taxes.
  • The tea act was on May 10, 1773. This whole thing was about the British east India company was on tea sales in the American colony. This act was a final event in a series in taxes and policies. colonist were very upset in this event because all the tax on the tea continued. mainly because at the time people really didn't drink tea. It was known for an unpopular drink.
  • boston massacre was on march 5,1770. What was this event? well this event was about a street fight. between a patriot and and British soldiers . unfourtanetly people were killed. fights between the British and colonists. And eight soldiers were put in jail for murder.
  • The Boston tea party was on December 16,1773. This was a political protest by the sons of liberty. People threw tea into the Boston Harbor. This is also partially why the American revolution happened. Samuel Adams happened to lead the Boston tea party. What was the after math? Well the after math was that the British shut down the Boston Harbor
  • Patrick Henry was a man who is a .U.S representative who was educated at United States Military. what was on of his famous quotes? " Give me liberty, or give me death!" he used these words to go against England. Who was Benjamin Franklin and what was the important work he did? He was a scientist. What was the important work he did? He helped the declaration on independence by drafting it. He investigated electricity and he did mapmaking. Who is Thomas Paine and what is some important work he did? Thomas pain is a American and English writer. And his important work is by helping the declaration of independence.
