  • "Honor, riches, marriage, blessing Long continuance, and increasing Hourly joys be still upon you. Juno sings her blessing on you."
  • Ever since Ferdinand has set foot on the island, Prospero has been observing and testing him. Prospero wants to know if Ferdinand is really worthy of taking his daughter's hand in marriage.
  • Prospero believes Ferdinand is worthy of marrying his daughter. He and the heavens blesses their marriage only if they remain chaste. Ferdinand promises to not give in to temptations and to treasure Miranda forever.
  • Prospero has ordered Ariel to call upon his spirits so they can perform and celebrate the engagement of Miranda and Ferdinand. Ferdinand enjoys the harmonious show and wishes to live on this island with his new father-in-law and Wife.
