  • In the Parliament most british soldiers had left their families to go fight for the country.
  • The British needed a place to stay at after the war for a temporary time until they can return home safely
  • Lt Colonel Thomas Gage thought that if he started the Quartering Act that might help the people that provide support not pay taxes but they still pay extra for the British Soldiers
  • We must have The Quartering Act because most. of our British soldiers live far away from home and they need better hospitality.
  • The British soldiers had a comfortable place to sleep and eat.
  • WE DON'T LIKE THE QUARTERING ACT!
  • The people of the village didn't like the Quartering Act because they had to pay extra and provide more hospitality
  • THIS ACT VIOLATES THE BILL OF RIGHTS!!
  • On March 24, 1767 The Quartering Act officially by law ended.
