Team member from Environment, Operations and myself (of course) the Facilitator on our way to Regional Office for full day workshop for design thinking intervention.
The workshop is at the Regional Office in southern Ontario. Setting up the room with whiteboard, post-it notes, and only loaner laptops (no personal). Start introduction to DT intervention and process for day. Next is coffee, snacks and icebreaker.
Introduce the team from the Region: Regional Land Representative, Communications, Stakeholder Relations, Regional Env Specialist, and Regional Operations Manager and the question: How might a pipeline company enhance pollinator habitat in CAN?
At this stage, all the research is completed. This will be the "What if" stage to brainstorm ideas about the pollinator habitat types and Company lands. What is the cost? What are the benefits for all? Is this actually the problem?
We have limited time, but will develop concepts and napkin pitches. Look at if there are any key assumptions and make a prototype.
Yay!!! The team nailed it, we think! Time to end the workshop and find out, "What works?" which will be followed up in the following 5 weeks and meetings to gather feedback, finalize prototype.
