This scene starts when Anne is in Peter's room and they hear a car screech to a stop. The look out the window and see the Green Police coming to the door. They come up the stairs, find the secret door, and bang on it and yell things like, "Aufmachen" in German. They bust down the door and see the Franks, the Van Daans, and Dussell. The police take them to a concentration camp an d their stay there is over. I chose this part because I think it is one of the most important parts of the play. It shows that they didn't make it out of the holocaust alive and even though they hid for more than two years, they ended up getting caught.
Aufmachen! Da drinnen! Aufmachen! Schnell! Schnell! Schnell!
