  • The Myth of Romulus and Remus

  • Rome is next to the Tiber River. It is located on the Italian Peninsula, which is located mainly in the Mediterranean Sea. It is also very mountainous and rocky.
  • Estruscan Influence on Sports
  • Romulus and Remus almost drowned when they were young. They then were found by a wolf who raised them. One night a man came and saw the two kids and took them to live with his family. Romulus and Remus built a town and fought and Remus was murdered by Romulus. Then the town was named Rome after Romulus.
  • Greek Influence of Architecture
  • The Romans used many Etruscan engineering ways such as arches as you'll see in several of their most famous buildings.
  • Influence of Greek Writing 
  • The Romans used sports from the Etruscans like chariot racing, which was one of the most popular sports back then.
  • The Romans used many Greek traits in their architecture such as columns and arches.
  • The Romans used Greek style writing such as using all capital letters.
