Ahlina Wasterwater Treatment
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hey kids, my name is Glunk.
Next is the screening stage.
Next is the Primary Treatment Stage.
And our story begins in this cute little bathroom where someone just released the remains of their potato salad into the unsuspecting pipes below. These pipes take wastewater from the area and transport it to the wastewater treatment plant.
Secondary treatment is aeration.
In this stage, all the large objects and grit are filtered out.
Final treatment involves more settlement.
The solids, such as poop, are removed from the liquids. This is done in a circular settlement tank, where the solids sink to the bottom and are scraped away.
The water is then released into a body of water.
The water is put into rectangular vats and exposed to air so that the bacteria will break down the tiny leftover sludge.
The water is put through the settlement tank again to collect newly broken down sludge and then filtered through sand to collect the last bits.
Following the water filtration and cleaning, the water goes back into a river. The END.
