Long ago before Earth there was only space, empty blank space. In this space lived one immortal being named Darcius. He has existed since the beginning of time, making all the stars and planets we see in the sky. Even after making a countless number of planets none of them contained life and because of this Darcius was lonely. After millenniums of solitude he had an idea, Darcius grabbed two massive rocks the size of the moons and slammed them together in a grand explosion, and from this spawned Earth.
Darcius creates the Earth after Smashing two large rocks together in a massive explosion. He then goes to this new world to make his creations.
From here Darcius intended to create the perfect creature. He found a creek nearby and sunk his mighty hands into the bottom lifting up huge amounts of clay. He used this to sculpt out his vision. He imagined a beast with scales, teeth, and a temper; dinosaurs. He was pleased and marveled at his work. However, when he reached out to touch the beast it sunk its teeth into his hand and then Darcius erupted. He set the world ablaze in an instant and with this all the dinosaurs were gone.
Darcius tried for a second time at his creation. He wanted this one to have less claws and teeth so that it would be not as dangerous, with that in mind he set to work. He sunk his hand back into the creek and sculpted his creation once again. “This time”, Darcius said, “It will be calmer, softer, and hairy. The new and improved creation will also have two tusks and a long trunk”. From this the mammoths were born. He was pleased with this one, but when he tried to touch this one he stabbed himself on one of the mammoths tusks. He let out an enraged scream which unleashed his wrath and froze the beasts off of the Earth. With this the Ice Age began and the mammoths were no more.
After many centuries the ice melted as did Darcius and his somber mood. He wanted to try one last time. “This time”, he said, “I will make my greatest creation. This one will be smarter, no claws, no teeth, yet needs me to thrive”. He had it, once more he took out the clay and began the hard work that was ahead.. He made this one more like him, two arms and legs standing upright. Finally after he had finished he knew what to call it, “Human” he said. He touched his creation and there were humans. The humans were not hostile and he could touch them without pain. He gave them food and shelter in exchange for worship. At last Darcius was happy.
Pleased with the humans he did notice that they seemed lonely so he made animals to be with them; birds, deer, and all modern animals filled the Earth and created joy for all. The humans started to work together and make things for themselves. Darcius did not think much of this as longs as they kept honoring him, so he stopped giving them gifts. As the centuries went on humans evolved and created vast advanced civilizations while Darcius basked in his attention, oblivious to the achievements of the humans. One day the prayers stopped coming and Darcius was confused. He decided to pay a visit to see the humans. What he saw was they had taken over the world and supported themselves, Darcius stopped paying attention to them and they to him, they needed him no longer. Heartbroken, Darcius cried out, “How cruel fate is that my greatest creation has forsaken me!”. With this Darcius flew into the sky, disappearing into the cosmos, never to be seen again.
