20 years later, Creon and Oedipus's two sons Polynices and Eteocles have turned against him; meanwhile , Antigone has guided him to Colonus which is where his journey is supposed to end.
Oedipus daughter Ismene delivers him a message that his sons have been fighting for power in Thenes and Creon plans to kill him to end the plague and for fill the prophecy. Creon later would seize Antigone and Ismene but not for long before being saved by Athens ruler Theseus. Followed by his son Polynices , he asks his father to come home to Thebes but his father calls him a liar and predicts his bloody fate.
Polynices , determined to finish quest to get the throne asks his sisters to honor his grave , and soon after , Oedipus falls to a lightning bolt from Zeus
Theseus , Antigone , and Ismene accompany Oedipus grave swearing to keep the site a secret. Theseus and the sisters return to Thebes hoping to stop the impending doom.
