- Arachne was a great artist, and many people came to watch her weave. However, she was also very prideful.
- I think that I am even better than the gods!
- Minerva could have been your teacher!
- When Minerva heard about this, she was surprised and angry. She changed into the disguise of an old woman.
- Next, Minerva went to Arachne's house and gave her a warning. Unsurprisingly, Arachne did not care.
- I will do what I want, old woman!
- You should never insult the gods.
- Minerva then changed back into herself and challenged Arachne to a weaving competition.
- I challenge you to a weaving competition!
- They both began weaving. Minerva wove a picture that showed all of the gods reverently. Arachne's showed all of the gods' mistakes.
- Filled with anger at what Arachne had made, Minerva turned her into a spider. The End
