You think you're too god for us just because you finished high school and have a job in town!
Papa and Junior's family had moved in to town, away from the rest of the family. Uncle Luis wasn't happy about this. Papa explained that it would be closer to work, but it was soon discovered by Junior that they moved so Junior could go to a better school and learn English.
On Junior's first day of the new school, he got bullied. At recess, Chango and his friends formed a semicircle in front of Junior, upset that Junior had stepped on Chango's foot instead of tripping on it. They broke out into a little fight, and Junior was good. The group asked Junior to be a part of the squad, and Junior felt pressured to say yes. The group called themselves Los Indios.
Los Indios liked to hang out at the movie theater they nicknamed Rat House, and cause trouble. The owner was old and fast, they called him Flash Gordo. they would burst out laughing when he caught a kid doing something wrong. They made fake names and called them out so Flash Gordo would zoom up the aisle.
When walking home from school one day, they spotted a white skinned and blonde haired kid. They went to beat him up, and they turned around to talk to the gang and he escaped. Junior then goes home to find out that the kid he just beat up is his new neighbor.
Let's go get him!
The next day, Junior wandered out back to do something his mom asked him to do, when he heard a cowardly snivel that made him look up. When he looked up, it was the kid he beat up. He wanted so bad to jump the fence and beat the kid up, but he could sense that his dad was watching.
The moms worked it out so that the boys went to a movie together. Junior and the white kid were the only ones who knew about the enemy situation. However, they went and Junior made a lie that Los Indios believed, allowing the white kid into the group for the movie. The white kid was taught a little bit of Spanish by Junior, and shouted when he was elbowed, so he would fit in. After that, the white kid was part of Los Indios.
