Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • "Goodbye, I'm going to miss you!"
  • "Goodbye, stay safe darling"
  • Conflict
  • "OMG!! WHAT COULD IT BE???"
  • Rising Action
  • "I'm so scared!! Why is this happening to me I just wanted to relax"
  • I'm Ava Roberts, and I'm an only child. I live with my parents in a suburban home. One weekend, my parents decided to go on a romantic getaway, but I insisted on staying home alone.
  • Climax
  • "WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING IN OUR ATTIC??"
  • Later on that day, I settled into the couch to watch my favorite show. But suddenly to my horror, I heard slow but steady footsteps from the direction of the attic.
  • Falling Action
  • I was startled when I heard a loud crash from the attic. My heart sank and I trudged into my dad’s office and started rummaging through the cupboards before grabbing ahold of his shotgun. Gripping the weapon tightly in my palm, I headed for the attic.
  • Resolution
  • "Thank you so much, I really appreciate your help
  • I twisted the door knob and kicked the door open aiming my shotgun at what seems to be a frail-looking man stood up against the wall. Noticing his fragile state, I lower my gun but I didn't put it away. I slowly plodded over and started questioning him.
  • "I'm so sorry I had no where to go"
  • After finding out that the man had been living in the attic of our house for the past few months, I begrudgingly contemplated whether or not I should phone the police. Looking into the man’s pleasing eyes, I sighed and beckonded him over.
  • "It's okay, don't worry you will find a place to reside"
  • "I hope so"
  • \Leading him to the front door, I shoved a thick wad of cash into the man's brittle palm. After promising me that he won’t trouble my family again, the two of us exchanged meekly smiles before the man takes his leave thanking me numerously for my gratitude. I shut the door and glided onto the ground, smiling to myself. I didn't expect my Saturday afternoon to end like this, that’s for sure.
  • "You're welcome"
