Hello. Welcome to the Hand Hygiene and Doffing/ Offing of PPE . By Aissetou Kaba , Aisha Dukureh, and Lavee Johnson
Objectives will be placed here.
First we start with the hand washing. Before PPE is put on, the worker must always wash their hands to insure cleanliness. This is to prevent disease and infection.
•The first step is wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap. •Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap.
•Be sure to lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. •Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer?
•Hum a short song from beginning to end twice like Happy Birthday. •Rinse your hands well under clean, running water. •Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.
Next will be Aisha Dukureh showing you about the donning and doffing of PPE. This will help make you more ready in the workplace. It will keep cleanliness in order.
