  • The Boston Massacre
  • I cant believe it had to come to this
  • The British left soldiers with the colonists, they were forced to provide food, and shelter for the soldiers, even thought the colonists didn't want them there.
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • Haha! No more tea!
  • British leaders needed money, and they thought the colonists should help pay for the soldiers there. So the Stamp Act said that the colonists would have to pay a tax, on a printed piece of paper to prove they paid it.
  • The Intolerable Acts
  • I lost my job... Im sorry.
  • We need more money, I cant feed my kids...
  • A soldier was guarding the Customs House, when a group of colonists started to throw ice, snowballs and rocks. More people showed up, and it turned into a mob. In self defense the guard shot their gun, 5 people died, other were injured. So the guard should not be blamed if it was self defense and the colonists started the fight.
  • After the Boston Massacre, the British government repealed the taxes. The colonists loved tea but many of them refused to buy it from Britain's, because of that Britain's largest tea company was losing money . To save the company they forced the colonists to only buy from that company. The colonists were not happy and ended up throwing the tea from the ships over board. They did not harm anything but the tea, they even replaced the locks.
  • After The Boston Tea Party, they decided to punish the colonists by passing new laws. They called the laws the Intolerable Acts. One law, closed Boston Harbor. Many people lost they jobs, many were afraid they would starve. People throughout  the colonies promised to send Boston food, and supplies.
