  • Jonas and The Giver talk about Jonas possibly escaping and giving memories to the community. The Giver and him strategize through he night and come up with a plan for Jonas to escape.
  • Hmm.... It is possible but I could not come with you. The community would go into chaos and would need me there. Lets just discuss this a little longer.....
  • Giver! We should let the people know these memories! If I ran away do you think that the memories would go to the community?
  • Jonas sneaks out at night bringing Gabrial (knowing he is going to be released)to get to his dads bike. They ride to the edge of the community and their adventure starts through the unknown and mysterious land.
  • We have a long way up ahead little guy.
  • As you heard I did skip 19, Jonas. Jonas, please come up now.
  • Jonas, tired and cold carries the whimpering Gabrial up a snowy hill. Using the last of his memory of warmth, he trudges up the hill to find a shiny red sled.
  • "we're almost there, Gabrial."
  • Let the ceremony of 12 begin!
  • The Twelves enter on to the stage and sit down, ready to be assigned.
  • I'm sooo exited! What will I get!
  • Good job to number 18, Fiona! Next number 20, Pierre!
