Storyboard Text

  • Character= Darry
  • Setting= East side of town
  • Character= Dally
  • Darry impacts Ponyboy because he loves him. For example Darry says "Listen, with your brains and grades you could get a scholarship." (173). This shows that Darry impacts Ponyboy to have good grades so he can have a better life than he did. He also wants Ponyboy to not end up like the rest of the greasers because they all had a bad life.
  • Ponyboy living on the east side of town effects him as a character. For example "Can you see the sunsets real good from the west side?" (129). This shows that if Ponyboy lived on the other side of the town he never would realized that he needed to fix his life so he wouldn't end up like the rest of the greasers like Johnny and Dally. Also Ponyboy would have never known why Dally was so hard on him all his life.
  •  Dally effects Ponyboy throughout the book. For example "...he handed us a gun and a roll of bills" (60). This impacts the book because if Dally didn't help them they probably would be in trouble and in jail. Also the storyline would change because Johnny and Dally wouldn't have died.
