  • I AM PAYING ATTENTION!
  • Billy! Why aren't you paying attention?
  • UGHHHHH!
  • Don't use that tone with me Billy. Why are you so angry. You know what? See me after class
  • Alright Billy. Open up to me. Why are you so angry? You seem very stressed, and you aren't doing too well in class. What's wrong?
  • I AM stressed. My parents are splitting up, and they are making me feel this way.
  • Hmmm... Maybe you could see the guidance counselor. She might be able to help.
  • Hello Billy, your teacher gave me a call and told me you were coming. 
  • Yeah. My uncle passed away too. I think that contributes to my stress too.
  • It seems like you're a bit stressed. Your parents split up?
  • Yes, it seems like those are your stressors. Did you know that stress isn't always bad?
  • It's True! The stress you're experiencing is distress, but the good stress is called eustress!
  • What? Stress can be good?
  • Stress is very serious. It can cause short term affects like sadness, loss of focus, and restlessness, and long term affects like Depression/Anxiety disorder, illness, and fatigue.
  • Starting today, try getting proper sleep, and try not to think negative about yourself. It could reduce your stress.
