Some tinfoil was sticking in a knot-hole just above my eye level, winking at me in the afternoon sun" This quote is on page 33 and it shows us that Scout is curious because even though the tree was right next to the Radley house she still went to see what had caught her eye.
"Scout yonder's been readin' ever since she was born, and she ain't even started school yet. This quote is on page 7 and it shows how smart she is because she knows how to read before she has even entered school. She knows how to read because Atticus taught her.
