Joan of Arc was a French girl. When she was 13, she started hearing voices from God. God told her to go fight for France and help Prince Charles become King. She ended up leaving home at 16.

Joan has to go ask Charles if she can fight. Charles goes into disguise as someone else and makes another person disguise as him to rick Joan. Joan doesn't fall for it and walks straight up to Charles. Charles is convinced that she was sent by God and gets to fight.

During the battle of Orleans, Joan is hit by an arrow in her weak spot of her armor. She rests for a second, but then she gets up and pulls the arrow out of her body and goes right back to battle. Thomas was also killed by a cannon ball that had gone through a window.
Towns mayor notices the enemies coming and closes the drawbridge, leaving Joan outside. Charles made no effort to rescue or ransom the women he owed so much. English payed the ransom and said that Joan will go to trial and will be burned at stake.

Joan's penalty is to be burned at stake. She is put in trial for witchcraft, heresy, and spreading beliefs that violate accepted religous teachings. She confesses than takes them back. Court made 70 accusations.

She is burned at stake. While she was getting burned, she calls out for Jesus. She dies at age of 19. Catholic Church is reason she died but in 1920, she is recognized as a saint.
