Good afternoon tatay, can you tell us something about this rice field?
Of course its hard for me especially for my family, my grandkids are still young sometimes they don't have money when they go to school. Me and my wife don't have work, the income of my in law is not enough for our daily needs.
This is the rice field we're i used to work and earn some money for my family and for our daily needs.
Do you still have some income even though this place is being renovated? What did the owner told you?
I'm the one that is in charge to guard the things that is needed for the renovation but I don't receive anything even a peso coin.
My in law have work but its not permanent and the income he is earning is not enough for our daily needs.
So tatay, even though your the one that is in charge to guard this place you don't get anything? Where do you get your daily needs?
Is it hard tatay? Living your life like this in this kind of place?
Sometimes where not able to eat 3 times a day and sometimes we don't eat at all. It's really hard for us.
Tatay took a one last look at the rice field before it turned into a clear place, no more rice field.
We saw how hard it is for tatay living their life like this. It was really heart breaking knowing that there are people like tatay that is only getting income in this kind of place yet it is being taken away from them.
Urbanization is already taking place and a lot of people are being affected from it. The government should have an action in this kind of issue.
