My life is a wreck. I have abusive parents, and now I killed a kid and brought a 14 year old into all of this!
What have I done! I mean Johnny did kill him but it feels like I did! I wonder how Darry feels.
The Church Burns
Why Ponyboy, Why?
I just recovered, but I know I've got to do it for Johnny.
After Johnny kills Bob, Dally gives Johnny and Pony a gun and $50, they go off to an abandoned church in Windrixville. This church provides shelter, along with a well with water. This church looks very run down. In the morning, Johnny gets supplies, and they both cut their hair. Pony bleaches his hair as well. Pony tells Johnny about the Robert Frost poem.
No! Not Johnny! What does he mean? I... I think he means to remain a great person, but I'm not sure.
After 4 or 5 days, Johnny decides to turn himself in. When they start to go back, they see that the church is burning. It was started by a cigarette bud. They find out that little kids are inside. As they save them from burning, they all sustain injuries. Johnny's is life threatening.
After Pony gets out of the hospital,he finds out that there is a rumble planned. During the rumble. The greasers, consisting of Ponyboy's gang, and other gangs like Tim Shepard's gang. The greasers come out victorious. (I just did a few people, note that there was a lot more people.)
On my way out of the movie theater I had two things on my mind. Paul Newman and a ride home...
After the rumble, Dally and Pony speed off to the hospital. They get stopped by a cop for speeding, and Pony acts hurt. They then get a police escort, and when the cop is out of sight, they rush to see Johnny. As he dies, he tells Ponyboy to "stay gold," a phrase from the Robert Frost poem.
No! Johnny don't die!
Stay gold Ponyboy, stay gold.
Dally loses it after Johnny's death. He breaks, steals and gets shot to death by the police. One night, two friends gone for Ponyboy. After the deaths, Ponyboy gets sick for a week, and feels very bad.
Johnny, now Dally? When will this madness end? Please, atlas Dally wanted to die
Finally, Ponyboy gets back in school, but is flunking English. He is told that if he writes a good semester report, he will pass with a C. He thinks about what he wants to write, but then Sodapop convinces Ponyboy and Darry not to fight anymore. Ponyboy finally decides to write The Outsiders.
