NO! You have to bring more resources so you don't come back until after a long time.
The reason people wanted to start a colony was to expand Englands territory and to find riches like gold. Also, some who wanted to start a new life joined the voyage because they wanted religious freedom.
Some problems are that the colony was built on top of a swamp which meant mosquitoes carrying diseases, and bad drinking water. So basically starvation. Also, the second voyage members all disappeared. No one knows what happened to them.
If I was there at there at the time I would have told the colonist to bring a lot more resources like fresh water or vaccine and more hard workers. Because the first voyage consisted of businessmen, not workers. Also, the second voyage members all disappeared because the leader was low on supplies and went to England. When he came back all the Second voyage members were gone. :0
