The environment in the Great Plains is grassland, valleys, hills and freshwater streams. It was hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There was a little breeze.
In the Great Plains food was mostly bison. But there was also deer. To hunt the Native Americans used bows and arrows. They also used traps.
The Native Americans of the great plains were nomads. Meaning that they never stay in one spot. They live in teepees which are easy to take apart. They ride horses to carry them, their stuff and help them hunt. The woman took care of the house and the men would hunt. Everything would be used. The bones would be used as weapons. The skin would be used as clothing or teepees.
