  • YES!!
  • The people of Russia wanted a change in government and were very displeased by Czar Nicholas
  • I'm here to say that we are a communist party.
  • On Sunday, January 22, 1905, a peaceful march occurred wanting reforms. Unfortunately, the czar told his soldiers to put down the uprising.
  • I, Joseph Stalin, am your new leader whom should be respected and always supported.
  • After the March revolution, Russian revolutionaries, Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky formed the Bolsheviks. Lenin promised "Peace, Bread, and Land" to gain support from people.
  • Russia is really behind. I need to come up with a plan.
  • The Bolsheviks became a communist party and Russia then became the United Soviet Socialist Republics.
  • Joseph Stalin became the new Soviet leader after Lenin died. He ruled with terror and cruelty.  In the 1930's Stalin launched the Great Purge which executed anyone who was against him.
  • Stalin created the first of many of Five-Year Plans, which was used to industrialize and increase farm output. The Soviet increased production in oil, coal steel, mining, and military goods. Stalin forced industrialization when it's supposed to happen naturally.
