Storyboard Text

  • To avoid the prophecy of death by his grandson, Acrisios locked up his own daughter, Danae, to prevent her from having kids.
  • HELP!
  • Zeus watched Danae and thought she was beautiful. So, he turned into golden rain which made Danae pregnant. She gave birth to Perseus.
  • Hm...
  • When Acrisios found out about the birth of a grandson, he locked Perseus and his mother in a chest, which was thrown into sea. Soon, a fisherman and his brother, King Polydectes, found the chest.
  • It's cramped in here!
  • Polydectes gave Perseus a lot of challenging tasks. One of these include slaying Medusa!
  • After hearing stories about his father, Perseus decided to visit Argos. Acrisios, however, was not happy, for he still feared the prophecy.
  • Oh no! He's coming!
  • Unfortunately, the prophecy was true. Perseus lost control of a heavy disk, which struck Acrisios and killed him.
  • Oh my!
