There is only one explanation. You have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It is a common RSI, which explains your soreness while you are typing.
I recently had a terrible backache and I am experiencing pain when I work on my computer.
These desks are not clean and the office seems very disorganized!
Before the desks were changed....
On Thursday morning, Callie O’Brien, a professional personal investigator enters Google Headquarters. After Reynolds tells her his symptoms, Callie diagnoses him with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. She tells him that it is the most common form of RSI and some side effects include tingly fingers and soreness in wrists while typing.
I solved another one! It was an environment full of bad ergonomics.
Callie advises that he goes home to get some rest. Ryan then calls Callie into her office and asks if she can investigate why similar things are happening to other workers. Callie takes a quick look around to the different desks and offices and notices that the workplace is very disorganized and that their state of cleanliness is very low.
Staying up late is not the only factor that contributes to the tiredness and fatigue but mostly the bad lightning from being at the office at late night.

Ryan informs her that their new janitor Gabriel Pollux recently bought everyone desks and changed the entire office setup. Before this week, all employees had L and U shaped desks. Since the new desks are much higher than the old ones, it results in the computer monitor and keyboard being much taller than recommended.
It seems that Spencer's allergy symptoms are due to the poor air circulation in this building.
In addition to the desks being taller they are also much smaller, which means that the monitor is not an arm's length away. Callie then reveals that that there is no “mystery” illness after all, but it’s actually bad ergonomics.
- Desks were too small - Monitor and keyboard were not arms length away - Typing too much - Unclean environment
Ryan states that it is a busy time for Google since they’re working on a new project. This has lead to employees staying late, which means bad lighting for their eyes. Other workers who have previously complained about fatigue, realize that their tiredness also came from bad ergonomics, and not just staying up late
Callie explains to everyone that Spencer’s allergy symptoms are due to poor air circulation in their office and unclean environments. Ryan suddenly gets an idea. All their problems started when Gabriel started working for them as a janitor.
All of this started happening when Gabriel started working here!
