In AD43, the Roman army landed on the beach of Kent and destroyed hill forts in search of Britain's metals.
The Romans also built new forts, settlements and roads. They spread their culture, language, and laws
The Celtic tribes decided to obey Roman laws and pay taxes in return of keeping their kingdoms. A few leaders chose to fight.
Later in AD60, Queen Boudicca of the Iceni tribe raised an army and set fire to Roman towns.
The Romans decided to fight Boudicca.
Even though Boudicca's army was much larger, the Romans still won due to their advanced training and armor.
