Parris catches the girls dancing in the woods with Tituba including his niece Abigail and his daughter Betty.
John, Giles and Francis defend their wives
Tituba and Abigail confess to reverend Hale that they were doing witchcraft and start naming and accusing other people they saw with the devil.
John refuses to confess
Abigail accuses Elizabeth of witchcraft and when they go to search her home they found Mary's poppet with a needle in it and Elizabeth gets arrested
John, Rebecca and Martha are executed
Giles, John and Francis go to court to try and get their wives released and John takes Mary with him. Giles gives the Judge a paper with signatures to prove their wives are good people. In the end John is arrested for witchcraft and Giles is arrested for not giving up the name of an informant.
The day that John is going to executed Elizabeth and Hale try to convince him to accept the Judge's last chance to confess to get his life back and he does at first but when the judge want's him to sign a form John refuses and rips the paper up.
John Proctor, Rebecca Nurse and Martha Corey are all executed because they were accused of witchcraft
