After completing their SNAP Application, individuals decide if they want to voluntarily participate in E&T.
Worker Portal communicates with the individual's assigned KCC and automatically schedules an appointment. If requested, the individual receives an initial transportation payment to help them travel to their appointment.
During the meeting with the Career Coach, the individual completes the ETP Assessment and is placed in an appropriate E&T component. Each month, individuals report their participation and hours to the Career Center, to DCBS, or through Citizen Connect. Career Coaches must verify all reported hours and activities and issue a transportation payment, if requested. Career Coaches also collect requests for good cause.
Individuals travel to their assigned KCC to meet with a Career Coach, or the Career Coach may agree to meet the individual at another location.

Kentucky Career Center
Each month, individuals are encouraged to report their participation and hours through Citizen Connect.* They may also mail their monthly participation record to the DCBS mail room, to their Career Center, or to their local DCBS office.
Career Coaches must review verification of reported hours and activities for ABAWDs subject to the time limit each month. Then, they issue a monthly transportation payment, if requested. Career Coaches also document requests for good cause, which are sent to DCBS for review.
