The animals gather in the barn to listen to Old Major's speech. The speech states how man has mistreated animals and taken their produce for years. Old Major encourages the animals to rebel against mankind- and create an environment in which all animals re equal.
Well done, Comrades!
Once the animals drove out Mr. Jones, the farmer, the pigs soon take charge (Napoleon, Snowball, and Squealer). They establish 7 commandments on the farm. The other animals, meanwhile, are forced to work hard for food. and resources.
DEATH BE UPON THE SINNERS!
Soon, Mr. Jones returned with his men and guns to win back his farm. This battle was named: "The Battle of the Cowshed". However, the animals defeated Mr. Jones and his men- but there were minor injuries and one death that occurred during the battle.
We will abolish the hoof and horn from the flag.
Snowball is exiled and Napoleon takes complete control. Whenever any animal doubts him, Squealer swindles them into becoming convinced. Whenever something goes wrong, Snowball is to blame for all of it.
Soon, Napoleon and Squealer began to take advantage of the other animals' limited knowledge. They started to change certain commandments that the farm was supposed to run on. Pigs started to be superior to the others. Any animal who commintted a sin would be slaughtered for all to see.
Soon, the pigs start to walk on hind legs and positively interact with human farmers. They abolish all animal- like traditions. They have dinner with the farmers one night and the otheranimals look into the window. They couldn't tell pig from man or man from pig.
