Storyboard Text

  • Lennie, when we go and talk to the big boss, don't say anything! *grumbles* Not a word!
  • Okay, okay
  • We got into the job! Lennie, we have to be on our best behavior! No fooling around, got it?
  • Okay..
  • Hey, look what I got George..
  • *GRRR!* Put that mouse down right now Lennie! Don't be playin' with animals like that!
  • George (left side) warns Lennie (right side) not to talk duing their job interview. They have moved to a new town and they both need new jobs after another incident in their previous town.
  • Welcome to the ranch!
  • Later on that day, George and Lennie wait to start their new job on the farm. As they both eat their dinner (mashed potatoes) Lennie talks about how he would like some ketchup..this was a funny part in the book!
  • Nice to meet you George, I'm glad you and your friend could join us here on the ranch this month! Soon, it will be harvest time!
  • On their way to the new town, George scolds Lennie for picking up little mice and rubbing them, which always results in getting the poor creatures killed. Lennie never understands, because all he wants to do is stroke their fur.
  • As they enter the new town, they meet new people and make new friend, Lennie listens well and George had a good time.
  • For the next couple of days, Lennie and George work around the farm and meet new friends. Curley(right side far) and his wife come onto the farm and talk about their past.
  • At the end of the story, Lennie has another incident, this time with Curley's wife. He was feeling her hair but then he wouldn't let go, broke her neck, and killed her. He soon was killed for his actions.
