Today's topic is going to be "The evolution of social sciences" or being more specific "Empiricism".

Excellent question Melissa. The philosophers John Locke, George Berkeley and David Hume were the creators.
So, in conclusion, these philosophers created it in the XVII and XVIII century and empiricism is based on the inductive method by which general conclusions are drawn to something in particular.
