  • I noticed you arrived on time in class this week, LIz. You have shown a great improvement in focus and concentration and you look engaged. The assignment of yesterday was well done, compared to your former works. It was to test understanding of basic geometric shapes, and their relations. We will do a similar work in 3 days, we can discuss more, in these days,  of what is still not clear. Write to me 3 questions or doubts you have. On the other side, you must be more silent in class, your attitude may distract others who need silence to concentrate

  • you will peer in 2  and give each other feedbacks on the test of 2 days ago, The solution is on the board. Check it and compare, and help your friend to see where he did good and wat he need to improve. YOu have 10 mi. after we will have open common talks about it

  • welcome Marco, you have been doing well since last month. YOu have progressed in all points. We still have to properly work on the concepts of movements in the space and relationship, these are quite important bases, (as you also mention in your file they are not clear) and the assignment was not enough. We will work more on it, I am going to give a group-homework with a practical example to build.
  • 1.Feedback must come quickly, soon after the work is done 2.Alternate compliments - corrections - compliments again 3. Be sensitive to students needs and real capacity 4. Use a rubric, so that each feedback is referred to a specific knowledge or skill
  • 1.Train students to give each other constructive feedback in a way that is positive and helpful.  Encourage students to use post-it notes to record the given feedback. 2. Return students tests, papers, and comments at the beginning of the class, giving time for questions before the end of the class
  • 1.Organize regular meeting, with check up on progress, follow up of performance and clear target for the student. 2. A written report would be useful too, where the student can fill in also, his doubts, strength, needs. 3. Be careful of your own body language
