  • the receptors, your cells, react to the stimuli, and notify your body that there is a lack of insulin production.
  • the effector is the pancreas. The pancreas acts in response to the stimuli and it is able to work harder to produce more insulin for your body.
  • the pancreas can also secrete glucagon, which is a hormone released into the bloodstream, and can bring the glucose levels back up. 
  • another way we can easily bring your blood glucose levels back up, is for you to consume a high sugar drink such as orange juice.
  • your blood glucose levels should return to normal soon. Make sure to eat a small snack an hour or two before your next meal!
  • thankyou! I will make sure to eat every day, not skip meals, and keep my blood sugar levels healthy!
