7. Revelation & change: Pi's revelation happens when he realizes he can't stay on the island. He realized he had to get back to civilization. His final change is when Pi recognized what Richard parker really is and truly turning to god. Quote: "Nothing but teeth left! TEETH!"I think this quote helps the stage of revelation because teeth would eventually be the only thing Pi started seeing all over the island. The teeth makes him realize that he can't live like that, that he'd rather be out at sea looking for land with people instead of living alone.
8. Gift & return to real world change: Pi's gift is an understanding of god and the rest of the world. Pi's at peace with god. His return to return to real world change is having a new way of seeing the world around him. Quote: " This beach, so soft, firm, and vast, was like the cheek of God, and somewhere two eyes were glittering with pleasure and a mouth was smiling at having me there." Chapter 94 page 2I feel like this quote helps what I said his gift and return change was because out of everything in the world he could've picture himself at, he pictured himself on the cheek of god.
