Let's say that I would visit there but never live there.
What was it like living in Ecuador?
Back in Ecuador, I didn't have a lot of money because jobs were a bit tight.
This isn't how I want to live life. I cried almost every day looking at the same old bed, I wanted a better future.
Was leaving your homeland hard mom?
It was hard, I got all the money I saved up from just working hard and grabbed the things I need and left for America. It was just a backpack full of my clothes and maybe little things. I remember just sleeping in the plane so silent felt like no one was there.
NOTHING AT ALL!!!
I had a good friend in America, her family let me stay until I could live on my own, that turn out well because you nor your sister would have been here.
I worked pretty good for cleaning I made 12 dollars per hour. I was able to move out in the next 3 years and raise a family of my own in the house you live in today. That's the story of me coming to America.
