This was a tax set up to protect the industry in the Northern colonies. It taxed all imported goods to foreign places like Britain. This tax eventually hurt the south because Britain didn't want to buy their cotton that had a 38% tax so the South couldn't sell anything.

This law in 1830 allowed Andrew Jackson to make treaties in which American Indians in the East traded their land for territory in the Great Plains. If they didn't go by themselves, Jackson would send federal troops to forcefully move them west. This lead to "The Trail of Tears."

This tax is causing us harm so we have the right to nullify this tax and if something isn't done we will "SECEDE!"

These Spoliation Claims said by the United States are settled when the French Government agrees to pay $5 million from the Napoleonic Wars. France tries to get out of paying the debt but gives in and pays at the start of 1836.

Jackson vetoed the Charter Bill because he thought it was just a monopoly that made the rich-richer. This gave the common people more liberty in the bank and they were able to get bank loans. This later caused the economy to crash and lead to the Panic of 1837.

The south couldn't tolerate the Tariff of Abominations any longer so a man named John C. Calhoun from South Carolina wanted to nullify this tax and threatened to secede if tax was not nullified.

Caused from Andrew Jackson vetoing the Charter Bill and stopping the flow of federal funds to the Second Bank of America , a financial crisis took place which lowered profits,prices,and wages while unemployment went up.
This is all Andrew Jackson's fault for vetoing the Charter Bill and stopping the flow funds to the bank!
