Storyboard Text

  • Okay, class quiet down please. I wrote down five problems on the board for you to try out. Put your pencils down when you think you’ve finished them. No talking or sharing answers!
  • 2 x 4 = 8 x 5 = 12 x 3 = 6 x 7 = 9 x 9 =
  • 2 x 4 = 8 x 5 = 12 x 3 = 6 x 7 = 9 x 9 =
  • I can't see anything...is this a trick?
  • Alexa! It’s your turn! I choose you!
  • This is my fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Brennan. It was time to start our daily math problems.
  • Great job, Alexa! Just bring this home to Mom for me. Have a good day!
  • E C B H R Q S W N O P M T A X E Z Y
  • I looked up at the board, down at my paper, and once again up at the board but for some reason I couldn't see anything. It looked as if Mrs. Brennan was playing a trick on us by telling the class to solve multiplication problems when only subtle, white lines of chalk were scribbled on the board. I was confused.
  • Hmm, where are we going? Why does Mom have that letter?
  • About two minutes had gone by and everyone started to put their pencils down when I had yet to write down one answer. Mrs. Brennan ordered the class to finish up and hand it in. I began to panic. My whole world seemed to crumble when my classmate Tyler barged into the room and picked me to go next for our yearly check-up at the Nurse's Office. I was saved.
  • Gucci Ray Ban Coach
  • Michael Kors Versace & more!
  • After checking my ears, nose, throat, reflexes, and breathing, my nurse held up a sign with different sized letters about 10 feet away from me and asked me to read them off. I couldn't do it; I couldn't see. Reassuring me that I did a great job, she handed me an mysterious envelope to bring home to my mom.
  • A few days later, I found myself in the car with my mom to an unknown destination.
  • We pulled up to a nice building with signs advertising name brands in the windows. Still unclear about where I was, I mindlessly walked in alongside my mom.
