"All men would be tyrants if they could." - Abigail Adams
I am the second, First Lady
Women should have free speech.
“If particular care and attention is not paid to the ladies, we are determined to foment a rebellion and will not hold ourselves bound by any Laws in which we have no voice, or representation.”
On November 11, 1744 an adorable baby named Abigail Smith was born. In Weymouth , MA. Her parents names were Elizabeth Quincy Smith and William Smith.
Abigail Adams served as a semi/politician a first lady and an unofficial adviser. (For her husband)
Oh John, were are you my love.
Abigail Adams was famous for being the second, First lady and for mentioning women's rights during her unofficial advising and politician period.
After Abigail returned home she did not really do anything important until John Quincy Adams got elected as the 6th President.
Abigail Adams did not die during the war nor did she even participate in the war because she is a women. But she did discover some sadness during that time because she thought that the war had taken her husband away from her.
What I learned from Abigail Adams is that sometimes you just have to be strong and if you don't think that something is right then don't be afraid to speak out against it.
