Storyboard Text

  • The spheres of the Earth
  • Hydrosphere
  • " Out to see the sea"
  • Lithosphere
  • "welcome"
  • Everything in Earth's system can be placed into 1 of 4 major subsystems: land, water, living things or air. These 4 subsystems are called "spheres". Specifically, they are the Lithosphere (land), Hydrosphere (water), Biosphere (living things), and Atmosphere (air).
  • Atmosphere
  • The Hydrosphere is all the waters in Earth's surface, such as lakes and seas, and even sometimes including water over the Earth's surface, such as clouds.
  • The biosphere
  • The lithosphere is anything involving Earth such as Mountains, sand, dirt, and even the Earth itself.
  • Conclusion
  • The atmosphere is the envelope of gases or the air that is surrounding the Earth or another planet. For example, the oxygen we breath.
  • "Nice day to go out and get some fresh air"
  • The biosphere is anything that is a living thing, such as trees, animals and of course, us people.
  • In conclusion, all of these spheres, hydrosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere and biosphere, all make up the planet Earth.
