At thirteen Joan heard the voices of three saints. They told her to help the dauphin and save France. She was totally normal until this point. At the age of seventeen she set out for the king
She disguised herself as a boy to be safer. She had to convince the commander to let her see the dauphin. The Dauphin heard a prophecy about Joan. Joan sucessfully picked him out of a crowd.

Joan and the Dauphin led a army to recapture Orleans. After this battle Joan was known as the maid of Orleans. They also freed surrounding cities. She fought bravely even with an arrow in her shoulder.

The price signed a treaty to not attack Paris, without Joan's knowledge or consent. She lead a small army of 300 to try to capture it. She fought well at first but they had to retreat. Before Joan made it in the city the drawbridge closed and she was captured. She was ransomed to the English.

She was sentenced to death for witchcraft and heresy. She signed an confession but then took it back. She showed great courage in face of the ordeal. She died when she was nineteen
She was later found innocent after she died. She was made the patron saint of France afterwords. She proved that women and girls could be great and inspiring leaders too.
