  • Revolution begins
  • The general estates convened in may 1789 and traditionally they where out voted every time due to each group only having 1 vote and each one has to vote on another. This led to the third class always being out numbered. On 1789 resents of France  declared themselves the national assembly and

  • On July 14, 1789 the city of Paris buzzed with rumors that royal troops were going to occupy the city eventually more than 800 troops where to arrive outside the Bastille due to the crowd outside protesting. The commander refused to let them in. The angry mob somehow got in and started to tear the place apart representing the symbol of abuse of monarchy. 
  • Long term causes of  the French revolution
  • In France there were 3 different estates which divided them extremely. There were the clergy, the nobility and the bourgeoise. A the the rank went higher the fewer people they had, too many people where left starving and abandon while the rich stuffed themselves at parties they couldn't afford.

  • On august 4th feudalism was abolished at 2 am by delegates. A national assembly was held and voted by their own privileges and was said to agree on giving up there old, manorial dues, exclusive hunting rights, special legal status, and exception from taxes.
