Storyboard Text

  • Macbeth By: Shakespeare
  • Hubris- Macbeth knew Macduff suspected him for killing Duncan so he went to extreme measures.
  • I'll raid Macduff's castle, seize the town of Fife, and kill his wife, his children, and anyone else unfortunate enough to stand in line for his inheritance.
  • Whose hands are these? Ha! They're plucking out my eyes. Will all the water in the ocean wash this blood from my hands?
  • Hamartia- Macbeth is hallucinating and feeling guilty because of killing Duncan.
  • "Don't worry until Birnam Woods comes to Dunsinane." And now a wood is coming to Dunsinane.
  • Peripeteia- because his proficiency's are coming true.
  • I have done the deed. Did you hear the noise?
  • Nemesis- Macbeth killing Duncan changes the fate and it can't be reversed now.
  • Catharsis- Fleance fled the scene so the audience was in fear of what would happen next.
  • Macbeth pitied Duncan- after Duncan was dead. And Banquo went out walking too late at night. If you like, we can say that Fleance must have killed him, because Fleance fled the scene of the crime.
  • Anagnorisis- When Macbeth finds out his wife is dead.
