  • (4.1.106)
  • Take this vial it will have you be in a deep sleep for 42 hours...
  • (4.1.46) (4.1.55)
  • Give me some advice about my current situation or watch me kill myself.
  • (4.5.38-40)
  • "Death is my son-in-law. Death is my heir. My daughter he hath wedded. I will die, And leave him all. Life, living, all is Death's."
  • "Thou shalt continue two-and-forty hours,.." I think this means that people will think she is dead for 42 hours. Because before this it talks about how people will think that she is dead.
  • (4.3.37-41)
  • What if Romeo doesn't find me? Or what if I actually die from the vial...
  • "Come weep with me, past hope, past cure, past help." In this quote shes saying how their isn't any hope anymore and it shows how sad she is. "And with this knife i'll help it presently." This is the second quote I chosed because she went from being super sad to now thinking ending her life is the best answer.
  • (3.1.83-85)
  • Did you see that? Tybalt stabbed Mercutio! He just killed Mercutio!!
  • Lord capulet is talking like death is a person when it is actually just a state of being and it's human nature for death to happen.
  • I can't believe our daughter is dead.
  • "the horrible conceit of death and night, Together with the terror of the place- As in a vault, an ancient receptacle, Where for these man hundred years the bones Of all my buried ancestors are packed;" This is what Juliet was saying about the tomb and to me I visualize a dark underground place that's all dirty and nasty, and filled with rats.
  • Tybalt is at fault for Mercutio's death. Tybalt is at fault because the prince banned any sort of fighting on the streets in Verona, but Tybalt pulled out his sword anyways and picked a fight with Mercutio. He let Mercutio's teasing get to himself and got upset to the point where he had wanted to fight.
  • In act 4 scene 5 there is dramatic irony because this is the scene where everyone thinks that Juliet is dead. No one knows that she got this vial that makes her sleep except for the audience. So it's creating dramatic irony when everyone else doesn't know whats happening and the audience knows something they don't.
