Storyboard Text

  • Thanks, nymphs! Off to kill Medusa!
  • Here, Perseus. Take these winged sandals, this magic wallet, and this invisibility cap!
  • Die! Die! Die!
  • Someone, help me!
  • I'll help you! Die! Die! Die!
  • Here Perseus found three important items: winged sandals, a magic wallet, and an invisibility cap. Then he set out to kill Medusa, who hung around with her two sisters.
  • He found the sisters and Athena pointed out which was Medusa. Perseus used his tools and with Athena’s help he cut off the head of Medusa and put it in his wallet. The sisters awoke but he had the cap on and they couldn’t find him.
  • Well, Acrisius isn't here, but there is an athletic contest over there... maybe I'll compete.
  • Athletic Competition: Enter Here!
  • While on his way back he came across a young maiden and saved her from a giant sea monster by cutting its head off. Then he went on his way back to find Polydectes.
  • Incoming!
  • When he arrived, he found his mother taking refuge in a temple from Polydectes, who was at a banquet with his friends. Perseus marched in there and used the head of Medusa to turn them all to stone.
  • Perseus then decided to return to Greece to see if Acrisius had a change of heart about Danae and him. When they returned, however, Acrisius was gone. Perseus heard of an athletic contest being held in the north, so he headed there.
  • Perseus threw a discus in the competition and it went off course and into the crowd. It struck Acrisius, killing him instantly. The prophecy was then complete, as Acrisius was killed by his grandson, Perseus.
