In the beginning of act 1, scene 3, Queen Margaret watched from the shadows as Richard and Queen Elizabeth fought.
Although Margaret killed Richards brother and father, she feels like it was justified because they both took from her. Richard owes her a husband and a son and Queen Elizabeth owes her the entire kingdom. Best believe she will get what she wants, no matter what.
pictured: Queen Margaret cursing anyone and everyone around her, including the innocents.
"for each of the losses I have suffered, someone must suffer as well" Margaret then wished death on the king to die by excess, a violent death on young Edward to make up for the death of her Edward, and for Queen Elizabeth to outlive her and her children. She also cursed Rivers, Dorset, and Hastings
She saved the best for last as she cursed Richard to have extremely bad nightmares and keeping traitors as his friends
Concluding to the end of act 1 scene 3, Margaret says a final prayer about her hopes of regaining the crown the same way it was taken from her. she believes that she is only returning the favor based off on how awful they treated her.
