Storyboard Text

  • Cancel all of my upcoming parties and you all are fired in order to keep Daisy's privacy.
  • Penny come to your mother that loves you dearly
  • That's her daughter? I don't know if I believed she was real...
  • Gatsby cancels all of his upcoming parties and fires all of his staff, replacing them with new staff members, all of this was because he wanted to make Daisy as comfortable as possible.
  • ...OLD SPORT...
  • While not enjoying a hot day in New York the Buchanans host a small get together with Gatsby, Jordan, and Nick. In this very scene Gatsby meets Daisy's daughter for the first time and almost can't believe his eyes.
  • She was struck by a car and they just drove off, she's dead
  • When the members of the party decide to go out they load into two different cars. Jordan, Nick, and Tom load into Gatsby's car while Gatsby and Daisy drive Tom's. On the way to their destination Tom has to stop by a gas station and while there Tom tries to pawn off Gatsby's car to Wilson and his wife.
  • It was my car that struck Tom's mistress but it wasn't me driving
  • What seemed like the beginning of a decent conversation took a turn for the worse when Tom started making fun of Gatsby calling everyone "Old Sport". When Gatsby gets fed up with this he tells Tom that Daisy never loved him. In order to show Gatsby that none of his words affected him (Tom) he sends Daisy and Gatsby back home.
  • On Tom, Jordan, and Nick's way home from the hotel in New York they see a commotion in front of the gas station they stopped by on the way to New York. When Tom gets out of the car he sees his mistress laying there dead and the person who hit her is no where to be found.
  • When Nick, Tom, and Jordan arrive back at the Buchanan's house Tom goes up to speak with Daisy and Nick finds Gatsby hiding in the bushes. Gatsby tells Nick that his car was the one who hit Myrtle but Daisy was the one who hit her. Not only does Gatsby tell him this but he also says he plans to take the blame.
