Excuse me doctor, how do messages travel from one neuron to another?
I'm so glad you asked! First lets talk about the structure of a neuron...
When a stimulus triggers a neuron, electrical impulses travels through the axon to the axon terminals and then over the synapse.
This is a neuron! The ends near the cell body are called dendrites and the ends of the axon are called axon terminals.
The impulse travels over the impulse and then carry to next neuron through the dendrites to the nucleus. This process continues onto the following neurons!
