We want to become part of the Republic of Ireland.
I don't like that idea at all...
The Troubles was a 30 year long war against the loyalist and the republicans in Northern Ireland that started on Oct 5, 1968.
The whole conflict was over territory and had nothing to do with religion. The catholic's wanted to become apart of the Republic of Ireland, but the other side didn't agree.

Bloody Sunday started on January 30, 1972. Things turned violent with protesters throwing rocks, and then the security started shooting. It was intended to be a peaceful civil rights march but soon turned into a violent demonstration.

The good Friday agreement of 1998
The Catholic's are angry every time the Irish follow there old traditions. The traditions are marching in a parade around the entire town which at some points come close to the catholic territory.
Bloody Friday happened when the IRA put out 23 bombs . 10 exploded in a time frame of 80 minutes on July 21 ,1972.
On April 10, 1998 the Good Friday agreement was signed and the war was over.
