Hi! I have so many questions. First, where are you manufactured and why? iPhone: I was manufactured here, in Shenzen, China. I am used for different purposes such as entertainment, medical, school, and many others.
Greg: Where are do people usually get you? iPhone: Here, people get ahold of me. I am purchased mainly in China but have had more recognition in countries across the world.
Greg: When people get ahold of you, what do you come with? iPhone: When I am purchased, I usually come in a box made out of thick paperboard. Along with that, I come wrapped in paper or plastic. Along with me being wrapped, the accessories that come with me are also wrapped in some sort of material.
iPhone: To make me, it takes quite a lot of materials. Some of these materials can range from being very common and can be found anywhere to being rare and only being available in one part of the world. Some of these materials include gold, copper, iron, cobalt, nickel, and tinGreg: Woah, that's cool! No wonder you're expensive and many people see you as valuable.
Greg: How long can you live? Do people take care of you? Are you durable and lastly?iPhone: I usually live up to 3 years but some people have me for more than that or less. Depending on the person, I am well taken care of. I used to not be so durable. Currently, I am undergoing tests to help me become more durable.
Greg: How can people dispose you?iPhone: I am usually able to be traded in for another of my friends. I am also able to be recycled and when this happens, the person who is recycling me is able to receive money to encourage them to keep recycling items that may be dangerous to the planet. I may wake up to a new person because when I am traded in, I am usually refurbished and sent to a new person.
